I've been lucky enough to visit Germany twice. The first time as part of a land tour with Trafalgar, and the last time on a river cruise along the Rhine River with AmaWaterways. Each visit was unique, and even though there was some overlap in some locations, I still saw new things and had new experiences.

Germany's culture has been shaped by major intellectual and popular currents in Europe, both religious and secular. Historically, Germany has been called Das Land der Dichter und Denker (the country of poets and thinkers).
