Panorama Museum
A well-known painter from the 1820s, Johann Sattler, painted an impressive wall depicting a panoramic view of Salzburg. Not only did that painting depict the architecture and buildings of Austria, but it included detailed depictions of the people and their lives from over 200 years ago as well.

The Home of Mozart
Upon moving away from Mozart's birth home, his family settled next to the Salzach river. The home today serves as the Mozart's Residence Museum, where you can see how Mozart grew up and see the artifacts from his childhood.
St. Peter's Cemetery and Catacombs
The St. Peter's Cemetery and Catacombs is Salzburg's oldest Christian cemetery dating back to the 1600s. Since 696, monks have lived, prayed, and worked at the monastery. There is no doubt that this is an amazing site. It's not only a place of mourning, but also a place with beautiful architecture and rock caves in the Mönchsberg.
The Klessheim Palace
Once upon a time, this magnificent Baroque structure served as the residence of Salzburg's Archbishops. The Salzburg Casino is located within the palace, and it is a beautiful place to enjoy a little gambling. The gardens, interior design, and grounds are all noteworthy. The Germans are known for their thick, rich chocolate cakes. Take a bite of the most exquisite dessert around, the Sachertorte.
