The Barceló Bávaro Palace has different services and activities, such as 11 restaurants, U-Spa, 24-hour casino, 2 nightclubs, golf course, escape room, shopping center, professional soccer field and a semi-professional baseball field, night shows, theater, a nightclub, a train to tour the hotel, a church and a heliport, among others.

Dominican Republic departure tax. Infants travelling with Transat Vacations without a paid seat are required to purchase a tourist card and pay local departure tax before departure.

Choose the room category from the options available, first come, first serve. All pricing in CAD dollars.
Complete Booking Form at the end of this page.
Upon form submission, we will send you a passport information form and credit card authorization form required to reserve your room with deposit.
Insurance quote will be provided, if requested.
An invoice with pricing breakdown and a credit card authorization will be provided to secure deposit payment.

** You must commit to room category by March 6th, 2026. Deposit payment must be received by May 25th, or room will be released from the group inventory. **

Insurance to protect your travel investment is not included with this quote. It is always recommended to get Cancellation Insurance. Please request a quote at the time of booking.

Ready To Book? Let's get to the important details:

Payment Terms

Initial Deposit Due: A $150 non-refundable, non-transferable per person deposit is due on May 25, 2026 secure room.
Final Payment Due: 80 days prior to departure date unless otherwise requested by hotel or airline depending on group type or size. (November 25, 2026)
Please be aware that these rates are on hold for the group until March 5, 2026. After this time, any rooms still in the group not secured with completion of form will be released. Any requests for rooms after this date is subject to new pricing and quote.

If a guest cancels their travel package, there is a $50 professional fee charged per guest by Dietrich Getaways to process the cancellation. This is in addition to any cancellation fees charged by Transat Vacations supplier and will be charged separately.

Definition of a Group

A combined minimum of 10 paying travellers from any departure city is required

All flight times, airlines and type of aircraft are subject to change with or without notice.

Transat reserves the right to cancel your booking if full payment is not received by the scheduled due date. Unless you or your travel agent is notified in writing that your booking has been automatically cancelled due to insufficient payment, your booking remains confirmed and full payment is due as per Transat’ payment schedule outlined below.

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of your quote. In the unlikely event of a price misquote, we reserve the right to deny or cancel the group booking.

Complete Booking form

By submitting the booking form, you are acknowledging and accepting the Group Package terms and conditions. You acknowledge and agree to the initial payment for the deposit.

To submit your request for a travel package and room for Dominican Republic 2027 getaway, please complete the Booking Form below for each family/room with:

Lead Passenger information. A detailed questionnaire will be sent by email for full Passport Information for those staying within the same room (name must match passport including middle name if on passport).
Provide room category you wish to book - First Come, First Serve for room category.
If you are rooming with a friend, each of you should complete the booking form and in the notes section of booking form, please include who you are rooming with so I can match your room together.
If you require two rooms with one payment, please complete two separate forms listing the lead passenger. In the notes section of the booking form, please list the other room lead passenger you will be paying for.
Completion of the trip information form is not a guarantee that room is booked / confirmed until passport / credit card information is submitted to Transat.
